Good afternoon,
I have just purchased a second hand (plain) navy show jacket. It’s wool, fitted, made in England, sporting a “Derby House” label inside.
The jacket currently has navy fox head buttons BUT is missing buttons on the sleeves.
I wish to purchase another button set.
I am getting into Australian Stock Horse classes, mostly led yearling at this stage.
Would you recommend putting navy buttons back on the jacket or changing to gold.
Will be worn with traditional white shirt, green tie and green and gold saddle cloth for ridden classes.
One horse is chestnut/white pinto so wanting to stay neutral to compliment the horse.
Hi Lucy
My buttons are Metal. I imagine the ones on your jacket are plastic?? A fresh new set of foxheads would look lovely as would a goldy colour. Its entirely up to your preference
Cheers

Thanks Kaylene, yes they are plastic. I was just wondering if the goldy coloured buttons might add a nice contrast on the navy.
Just wanting to keep it modern also.
